{DIY} Photo Coasters

It’s no secret that I love homemade gifts. They are easy to customize, fun to make, and it almost always brings a smile to the receivers face!
Each year I try to give something personal to my bosses. Last year was a custom calendar, and this year it was custom coasters! They were fairly simply to make, and they definitely brought a smile to my bosses faces!

 Supplies needed:
1. Tiles (Home depot has for cheap!)
2. Wide Paint Brush
3. Mod Podge (Matte works best)
4. Small Paint Brush
5. Small Felt Furniture Pads
6. Photos of Your Choice

First, you’ll need to pour Mod Podge over the entire surface of the tiles. You’ll want to make the level of glue even throughout the tile. You now lay the photo on top of the glue.

Once the photo is laid, you’ll need to put a large amount of glue on top of the photo. This too will need to be evened out. In addition to the glue on the top of the photo, you will use the small brush to fill in all crevices around the photo with Mod Podge in order to seal the edges of the photo. Let dry and repeat this step at least once.

 Let dry about 12 hours.

Once the photos are completely dry, apply 4 small felt circles to the bottom of the tile, this will help with sliding.

Once finished, wrap with a cute bow and gift!
These were so easy, I know I’ll be making more for my own house too!
