Viva Las Vegas!

This past week, I not only celebrated my 21st birthday, but I celebrated it in VEGAS!
The views of the mountains from the plane were astonishing.
We arrived in Las Vegas early Thursday morning, which gave us plenty of time for sightseeing.
I was so happy to have my longtime BFF, Becca, joining me.
We were staying at Aria, which is smack dab in the middle of the strip, which provided for semi-easy access to just about everything.
As always, I began to get a migraine. Before we left home, my boss mentioned trying out an Oxygen bar while we were out here, so I figured we’d give it a shot.
I was so happy to have my best friend along for this crazy ride! Needless to say, I’m sold on the oxygen bar… My migraine diminished and I even felt a little uplifted! It was great.
There were so many daiquiri shops/stands in Vegas, it was crazy! Becca and I grabbed some sweet drinks from Fat Tuesday and went on our way. They were so good, but I would not have been able to handle any size larger than the ones we got. Being able to walk around with our drinks was crazy, totally not the norm for us at all.
Fremont Street was pretty awesome. The light show on the ceiling that night was an American flag- too cool!
Just down from Fremont Street was the Container Park! It’s made of tons of shipping containers, and houses tons of little shops and restaurants.
This giant, fire-breathing bug may have scared me half to death, but it was pretty darn awesome.
Saturday was our relaxation day. So, we hit the spa!
We relaxed in the saunas, the outdoor therapy pools and had some amazing massages. It was definitely the thing we needed after a long two days in Vegas!
The Chandelier bar at The Cosmopolitan was absolutely amazing. It was 3 floors tall!
We even managed to find Secret Pizza. The hidden gem inside of The Cosmopolitan.
 “Did Caesar live here?”

For our last night in Vegas, we decided to join a club crawl… Even though we were a little skeptical, we had the most amazing time with the LA Epic Club Crawl.
Becca, who hates despises chocolate, even had a Frrrozen Hot Chocolate. It could have been because it was from her favorite movie themed restaurant- Serendipity, but regardless, she had chocolate… and LIKED it!
Our first stop with the Club Crawl was HYDE, which was nestled right on The Bellagio Fountains, we had some amazing views and free drinks to get the night started.
Our next stop was Cabo Wabo, Sammy Hagar’s restaurant and bar. We had a private room that had floor to ceiling windows with views of the entire city… Did I mention we only paid $60 for the club crawl? So worth it already.
From there, we went to Chateau, inside the Eiffel tower. This club had the best DJ, awesome music and such a great atmosphere. Even if you don’t do a club crawl, I would highly recommend hitting up Chateau.
Our last stop was Drai’s. Definitely the biggest and loudest club we went to all night. They had some crazy light shows going on, along with tons of hardcore EDM music. Not exactly my style, but we still made the best out of it.
If you plan to be in Vegas, look for the Australian guys in front of Planet Hollywood in teal shirts. For $60 we paid no cover at four clubs, received 2 free drinks, and 4 bogo drinks, not to mention met some really fun people.
I think we both learned that night, that no pair of heels is worth looking good. We ended up with massive blisters and strained muscles. Maybe next time we’ll go with some heels that are just a little shorter!
Becca and I both thought another Frrrozen hot chocolate sounded delicious before we departed for home.
I loved so many parts of Vegas, but I can definitely see why so many people call it Sin City.
For now, Adios Las Vegas!
