The Orange Dream {Recipe}

Easy Dessert
Is it just me or did Spring just fly up on anyone else? Just me? Okay. Regardless of what time of year it is, I am always craving something sweet. Recently, Thomas and I were just sick of all the normal dessert ideas, and after a little soul searching, we both realized we were really missing Blue Bell’s Orange Dreamsicle bars. Blue Bell has only brought back the tubs of ice-cream, so no Popsicles or ice cream bars. Nonetheless, I had an idea. One that turned out to be way better than we ever imagined. If you follow me on SnapChat (XoXoTiffani) you were lucky enough to get a little behind the scenes look at this recipe, and if you aren’t following, go do so to get all the behind the scene shots for the blog!
Easy Dessert

Ingredients:
Orange Jello (can substitute sugar free)
Vanilla Pudding (can substitute sugar free)
Cool Whip
1/2 cups Milk (separated)
2 cups Water
1 Orange

Easy Dessert

 First, you’ll need to make the Jello according to the package directions. Once the orange Jello is made, you’ll add in the vanilla pudding mix straight to the jello mixture.

You will then add the milk to the pudding/jello mixture, and stir rigorously for at least 2 minutes.
Once you finish stirring, the waiting game comes. No one wants to eat a warm pudding. Place the mixture in the refrigerator for 1 hour or in the freezer for 25 minutes, to chill.
When the mixture reaches your desired temperature, aka, super freaking cold, you’ll want to layer it in to a dish. I added the mixture and topped it with cool whip and topped it all off with a bit of orange zest and an orange wedge.

Easy Dessert
This little dessert is super easy to make, and is the perfect, refreshing, dessert that doesn’t have too many calories. We loved it so much, I’m going to change it up with a couple different flavors of jello, I can’t wait to see how those come out!
Would this be something you could totally dig in to?
