New Home Pin-spiration!

Last week, Thomas and I moved in to our new home! We found an adorable townhouse and could not snag is up fast enough. Both he and I knew this was the place for us after our first walk through… The only problem? It was bigger than our current space, so we’d have to buy a few new pieces to fill the extra space. Thankfully, Thomas loves decorating just as much as I do, which made the whole process so much easier!
Between the start of a new semester, and moving in to a new home, we haven’t done much decorating   really anything in our new casa, but that is all about to change! We finally have all of our furniture in to their proper areas and are ready to hit the ground running with decor. I’ve been scanning Pinterest, finding some awesome decor ideas and I am more than ready to dive head first. Here’s a few of my favorites:

Our style has really evolved from the time Thomas and I first moved in together, and we are definitely ready to have more of a “styled” space versus tons of different pieces, pieced together. Do you have any huge Pinterest inspirations? Leave the link to your Pinterest board and I’ll check it out!

  1. I love the style you are leaning towards! Unfortunately, my home would never be able to look like that…kids, grandkids, fur-kids (you get the idea!). My home is more of a hodgepodge of all styles! lol Oh, and congratulations on your new home!! 🙂

  2. Okay, I am obsessed with all of these especially the wall map!

  3. These days I'm forcing myself to stay away from the rabbit hole that is Pinterest – only because as inspiring as it is, it's also very frustrating when you've taken on a project as big as remodeling a 1930 bungalow. I'm sure there are other, more healthy ways to establish more realistic standards but I'm afraid desperate times call for desperate measures. 🙂 Having said that, I'm over at http://www.pinterest.com/radionova if you'd like to peruse!

  6. First of all I would like to say terrific blog! I had a quick question that I’d
like to ask if you don’t mind. I was curious to know how you center yourself and clear your mind prior
to writing. I have had difficulty clearing
my thoughts in getting my ideas out there. I truly do enjoy writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are generally wasted just trying to figure out how to begin. Any ideas or tips?
    Appreciate it!
