Keeping Sane {A Few Things I’m Loving}!

Between the end of summer, the start of a new semester, working a million hours a week, and dealing with my crazy chronic migraine disorder, I really don’t know how I’m keeping my head above water. Thankfully, I’ve had a little time off from work this week due to the family traveling, so I’ve been able to ease back in to my class schedule, and enjoy just a little me time.
I really can’t function anymore without having fresh flowers somewhere in our apartment. Normally I spring for something with lots of colors, that will bloom tall, considering our walls are still a little bare, but I couldn’t pass of these hydrangeas and spider mums.
I recently invested in a Keurig, and boy was it the best money I have ever spent! I normally don’t have time to drink more than one cup of coffee in the mornings, so this little baby is perfect!
Lately, my mornings have to start with a run. I feel so out of it if I don’t have some type of a jog or run in the morning- always with my sweet pup! And I do believe my newest pair of running shoes are partially to blame for my most recent jump back in to the running field.

Music has always been such an escape from everything. Last night we were invited to Eli Young Band’s House Party Private Reveal Party at the Ballpark! It was such a fun night getting to literally just hang out with the band, and listen to them play a few songs! Definitely took the edge off of a busy week!
We’re preparing for a long weekend in Austin, and a trip to Boston shortly after! My week of sanity is almost over, but I know the travels we are about to embark on in the next few weeks will help in large part with keeping my sanity for the remainder of the summer!
Happy Hump Day!

  1. First off I want to say great blog! I had a quick question that I’d like
to ask if you do not mind. I was interested to know how
you center yourself and clear your thoughts before writing.
I’ve had a hard time clearing my mind in getting my thoughts out.
I do take pleasure in writing however it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are generally wasted
simply just trying to figure out how to begin. Any ideas or
    tips? Appreciate it!

  2. We’re a group of volunteers and opening a new scheme in our
community. Your website offered us with valuable info
to work on. You have done an impressive job and our whole community will be thankful to you.
