Gallery Wall on a Budget

Before Thomas and I even moved in together last year, I knew I wanted a huge gallery type wall. Since then, this little wall of ours has been made over twice, had three new looks, and countless hours spent arranging it all. Our most recent look, pictured below, was great… Until I got the decorating itch again. It just didn’t have that home-y feeling I was really wanting. I wanted more pictures and more things that really described us!
Not to mention, I snagged some awesome finds at the thrift store this week, and I knew just where they would fit! Read about that adventure HERE
Handmade Hubcap wall clock- Black Sheep Craftworks
Thrift Store Wall Hanging & Canvas – CCA Resale, Carrollton, TX
Flea Market Cathedral Mirrors & Shadow Box- First Monday, Canton, TX
Wall Plaque w/ Hooks- Goodwill
Belmont Photo frames- Michaels (on sale for $5 each!)

I am so happy with how our little wall turned out! Unfortunately my wood baseball bat didn’t make it on the wall… yet! You have no idea how much really goes in to mounting a baseball bat to the wall.
I think my favorite part is knowing that at least half of the items on that wall were upcycled by me!

  1. So my boyfriend just got this link in an email for ideas for our first apartment! I love this! It's so cute, I'm definetly going to do this at our first apartment! We have been collecting art together for the past year, so they will go perfectly with this type of wall set up!

  2. Can't believe you made this transformation with so much thrifting! It looks fabulous! The hubcap wall clock happens to be my favorite. When I decorate, I tend to repurpose things that I find on the street (not sketchy at all, lol)

  7. Very cool! I can't wait until I'm in an apartment for more than a few months so I can decorate it. I would love to get some pictures from my Facebook photos framed.
