I haven’t done a post like this in forever, and sometimes, I think it’s really good to. With so many new readers and visitors to my blog every day, it’s fun to take a break from the DIY’s, travel and food to share a little about me.
So about my life lately….
I’ve been traveling a lot lately! Thomas and I went to San Francisco for a week including a day in Napa Valley, and it was downright fabulous, you can read about our day trip to Napa here.
If you’re following along with my snapchat or Instagram, you saw me in Florida last week. *Insert heart eye emoji here* as so many people know (or maybe don’t know) I’m a nanny, and have been for the last four years, and I work for an awesome family. They invited me along to their friends beach house, and we had a great time! We stayed in Santa Rosa Beach, just down from Seaside & Destin! I had been to Florida many times while play club soccer, It was my first time to a Florida beach, and I loved it!
Thomas and I are headed north in a few weeks to continue on with our #TourOfTheBallparks travels! I can’t wait tell everyone where we’re going and all of the crazy stuff we have planned for that trip.
Another major #win is definitely in my health category. I’ve had severe chronic migraines since I was 14. After hundreds of different medicines and dozens of different treatments, I’m happy to report a HUGE improvement! I’m planning on doing an entire post on how much my life has changed since I started my new treatments.
If you remember, I did an entire segment on Touring our Townhouse, with all of fun decor we have. But it donned on me that I never finished showing off our townhouse decor. I will definitely be updating you guys on some changes and the rooms I happened to forget! I’m constantly updating and changing things around, so nothing stays the same for very long.
I feel like I’m the busiest I have ever been, and some days, I look at the clock and it’s 11:30 at night and I have yet to do one load of laundry, but that’s okay! And I’m totally learning to embrace not being able to get everything done!

This summer has definitely been one for the books, and it’s only half way over! I can not believe it! What have you been up to this summer? Headed anywhere fun? I want to hear about it!

I feel you on the busyness – living in the moment is so important and I feel like with work, blogging, and starting my new biz it's been hard to get anything else done haha.

Sounds like you've been crazy busy lately – I feel you, girl! And yes, I'm also struggling to accept the fact that I can't always check off everything on my to-do list everyday… There really is not enough time in the day!

I am currently working 12+ hour days, and I am so ready for a break. Spending 6 weeks in Italy and then coming back to this much is really a drag! but yes! enjoy life each day!
