I am so excited to announce the re-branding of my little space. With a little face lift, Not Your Average Southern Belle is now Savvy Southern Belle! I hope you all enjoy the updates and will continue to follow along!
At the start of 2015, I made a 15 in 2015 list! If I’m being completely honest, I only managed to accomplish 10 out of the 15 things I wanted to do in 2015. That’s still 2/3 of the list, which leaves me feeling pretty accomplished.
My 2016 list definitely has some big items on it!
16. Move closer to work! This was on my 2015 list, but it obviously did not happen. We got caught up in school when our initial lease was up and chose to stay an additional 6 months. We’re currently packing up our apartment and praying like heck that we find a place soon!
15. Living more frugally. While I don’t usually spend my money on stupid stuff and I almost never buy bigger ticket items unless they’re on sale, I occasionally will buy smaller things that we totally don’t need. Time to cut that mess out!
14. With that said, I want to cut my credit card debt in half. I’ve paid for school almost entirely on my own up until last semester, which took a toll on my credit cards! If I could cut the amount owed on each of them, that would be AWESOME!
13. Continue to blog consistently. There were many times this year that I would take a week or two off because I got overwhelmed withs school or work, which is totally normal. But in 2016, I plan to have a “reserve” of posts that can be shared during the weeks I’m overwhelmed with life so I’m never just absent.
12. Becoming an even better cook. I have a few go-to recipes that I perfected in 2015, but I want to find newer and better recipes in 2016!
11. New Macbook! My current Macbook was a gift from my mom in 2010, and it has seriously exceeded all of my expectations. I’ve already started saving a bit as well as getting gift cards from the fam to put towards it! Hopefully I’ll have a shiny new MacBook Pro by April!
10. Helping my sister prep for starting high school. We’re 8 years apart, and boy has a LOT changed in the 8 years since I started high school. But I am SO excited for her to start and can’t wait to see what she does in high school.
9. My birthday! Is it just me or do birthdays get less and less exciting as you get older? Oh well. January 11th is almost here!

8. More #TiffAndThomasTravel ! I love traveling, I really do. I hope to go on at least two small trips this year, as well as one big trip!
7. Connecting with more bloggers! I want to continue to do more with my blog. More giveaways, link-ups and collaborations in general!
6. Re-branding my blog! This has been a long time coming and I am SO excited to share all of this with you TODAY!
5. Training for and running in my first half marathon! Hello lots and lots of miles!
4. Multi-tasking LESS! WHAT? Yes, you read correctly. In one of the latest webinars from Helene from Helene in Between, she brought up why it is so important to stop multitasking, and I couldn’t agree more! So far, it’s done me very well!
3. Getting my migraines under control. 2015 was a pivotal year for my migraines and they’re only getting better!
2. Almost finishing school. By the end of 2016, I should only have one semester left! College has taken longer than most would expect, but I’m finally in the home stretch!
1. Doing as much as I can. I don’t want to look back this time next year and think “wow, I could have done so much more.”

What’s something you want to accomplish in 2016?

Sounds like you're set to accomplish a lot in 2016. I really want to be consistent in my blog and collaborate more too. Best of luck to you, and can't wait to read your updates.
Wow! Tiffany, these are some great goals (and accomplishing 2/3rds of last year's goals is great too)! I love a lot of them and am actually working toward some myself (living frugal, learning more recipes, cutting down debt, collaborating with other bloggers, blogging more consistently, etc.) – I *really* connect with this list. I'd love to collaborate with you for blogging if you're ever interested! I think we have a lot in common. You can find me at http://www.diyjahn.com
In either case, thanks for sharing this post! It's inspiring 🙂
Love this – especially the traveling one, and cutting your debt in half! We are trying to live more frugally, as well. We’re paying for my husbands grad school completely on our own and all of his CPA prep (that stuff is EXPENSIVE) so we’ve racked up our credit card bills, as well.
Absolutely LOVE the new style! Living frugally is something that me and my hubby are really working towards this year!
Good luck on your goals!

I agree with the getting frugal! I've been pretty bad this past year. Looking forward to saving up more!
My next computer will definitely be a MAC! They're amazing (: & I love the rebranding!
I love the rebrand! I need to quit buying things I don't need either.
xoxo, Jenny
This is a huge list of goals, but they all sound very reasonable! I plan on posting more consistently on my blog too. Sometimes it's just so hard with classes, work, social life, etc. Good luck with accomplishing your 2016 goals!
Love love your new site! It's stunning girl! I'm rooting for you to finish all these goals! You've got it!

Such wonderful goals for the year! Best of luck with them all and the redesign looks amazing. Congrats, girly! xx Merisa | Monogrammed Magnolias
Love this list and LOVE LOVE LOVE your redesign. My friend has horrible migraines and she just got the Cefaly since hers are so frequent. You should look into that!

Good luck with your 2016 goals. I know how hard being frugal can be but it can be accomplished. The small ticket things really do add up lol. I learned that last year.
Congratulations in your new blog design. It looks gorgeous!!!
These are great goals! One of my biggest goals is to cut back on debt this year, too! Loving your new design, sweet girl!

I love my MacAir. I got it last year and I am so glad I saved to get it. Good luck with the blog redesign! That sounds exciting.
Love this! Great goals and thank you so much for sharing!!

This is great! There's nothing wrong with not crossing everything off your list. Everything is a work in progress. I just got a new macbook after having my other one since 2009 and it makes the biggest difference in productivity.

I love your goal to live more frugally. I spend WAY too much way on little things here and there and I don't even realize it!
Wow! There is a huge list. I think that I would like to get some explanations to the options you've pointed out here.
I would like to thank you for the efforts you have made in writing this article. I am hoping the same best work for you in the future as well

I wonder how a lot attempt you place to make such a great informative web site.
May I just say what a relief to uncover an individual who genuinely understands what they are discussing
on the net. You actually understand how to bring a problem to light and make it important.
More people must check this out and understand this side of the story.
I was surprised you’re not more popular because you certainly possess the gift.
