Thursday, May 14th marked 3 years since the day this hunk asked me out! It’s been an adventurous 3 years and some of the happiest I have ever experienced. Monday the 18th was also his 22nd birthday! He was definitely feeling’ 22!
Thanks Melody Studio for these awesome pictures- check out some of her amazing work HERE |
I put Thomas’ gift out the night before, and the next morning I woke up to see all of my gifts surrounding his one present! He always blows me out of the water with his awesome gifts, every single year! Kendra Scott, Hobby Lobby, flowers, and Whataburger breakfast? He’s a keeper!
We relaxed the morning away at a new little spa we found in Downtown Carrollton, Carrollton Square Salon & Spa, it was wonderful!
To no surprise, we had lunch at our favorite spot- Neighborhood Services. It was more than fantastic, as always!
We chose to go to a new place for our Anniversary dinner.. A place that we expected to blow us away. Well it didn’t. It actually made us quite upset, the food and service were just awful. Appetizers sucked, main plates were lackluster and dessert, well don’t even get me started on that.
Nonetheless, we headed back to Neighborhood Services, where we KNEW we would get a good dessert, great service, and a fun time.
The crew there gave us that blown away feeling. We kept joking that we should have never left between lunch and dinner. The entire staff here is always wonderful. The entire staff here never lets us down, I can not recommend this place enough!
Having an anniversary and birthday so close to each other adds for a hectic week, but we always make it one of my favorite weeks of the year! Capital Grille was Thomas’ birthday dinner choice, and thankfully, they did not disappoint!
The middle of May might be the craziest time of year for us, but I wouldn’t have it any other way!
