I don’t know about you, but I love chocolate. Dark chocolate has so many benefits for the body and milk chocolate is so good for the soul. When Kate Weiser Chocolat opened in Trinity Groves, in Dallas, I knew I’d find myself there quite a bit… which I have. Now, normally, I load up on chocolates while I’m at Kate Weiser Chocolate, and a few macarons, but this time, I went with someone totally different at this decadent little chocolate spot.
Kate Weiser, recently named one of the top 10 Chocolatiers in the world by Conde Nast Traveler, hosted a special treat this weekend. In conjunction with Bisous Bisous Patisserie, Kate Weiser Chocolate created The Waffant! The Waffant is two delicious mini- waffle croissants from Bisous Bisous with a scoop of Kate Weiser ice cream in the middle.
I ordered mine with salted caramel ice cream and Thomas opted for lemon ice cream! I honestly don’t think I have ever had anything quite this delicious!
My sister opted for straight ice cream! She snagged the strawberry sherbet, mint and lemon-YUM! I’d had some of the other options of ice cream from Kate Weiser Chocolate before, but never any of the ones she chose. The mint was definitely my new favorite!
I’m so happy we were able to snag one of these delicious little treats before they went away. For my sake, keep your fingers crossed that these little sandwiches of deliciousness come back… Very soon!
