Ice Ice Baby!

HOLY COW.
Let me start by saying, this is Texas. We do not get weather like this very often. Which leaves me baffled at how CRAZY the last 7 days in Dallas have been.
Last Saturday, I did a photo shoot with my sister and her friends… outdoors… in flip-flops, and short sleeves. By Sunday, we were being doused in rain and engulfed by freezing temps, which turned to sleet later in the afternoon. By Monday, we were under an INCH of ice. Needless to say, Texas was closed.
Thomas didn’t have class, and there was no way either of us would have been able to make it to work, so we enjoyed spending our day at home, together.
I’m not sure which one of us came up with the bright idea of walking to get lunch, but we did. The walk there was not so awful, but the walk back was treacherous! It has begun sleeting, again. We attempted to run, I fell at least five times, lost my credit card in the process, and managed to get covered in mud. Needless to say, it was not my day. Ice-1 Tiffani-0
Tuesday rolled around, and we were still covered in ice, but managed to thaw out by the late afternoon. Wednesday and Thursday we were finally able to go about our normal schedules.. But guess what?
Today is Friday, and we’re under about an inch of snow as I type…. This does not happen here.
It’s been such a roller coaster of temps this week, and we’re due for more of this wacky weather tomorrow! Yikes!
While I may not be too fond of the snow, I know a certain doggy who is loving it! Hopefully everyone is staying safe and warm!
