Facing Fear

At a young age, I realized fear was pretty much what keep the world running… That, and Blue Bell ice cream! Whether it be the fear of failing, the fear of what’s to come, or just the general fear of the unknown, it’s a big deal. Fear can and does effect everyone, but it’s all about how you handle it!
1. Make a decision and go with it.
2. Be ready for a battle.
3. Know that anything is possible.
4. Let mistakes happen and keep moving.
5. Don’t focus on the negative.
6. Believe in the positive.
7. Remind yourself constantly that you can and will do it!
These tips have seriously helped me so much in the last few weeks. How you ask? I am following one of my biggest dreams and hosting a blogger retreat! Now, while this may not be something to cause fear to rise, I was so scared to share this idea with my friends and fellow bloggers. Hosting something of this nature takes a lot of planning and a lot of work, and that is what I’m scared of, or at least part of it. My initial fear was that tons of other bloggers would laugh at me. But once I got over the fear, hit send on those emails, and saw the outpouring of love from friends, family, and most importantly, other fabulous bloggers, I knew I had nothing to be afraid of. I am so excited to announce that I will be hosting a blogger retreat in late July for around 10 bloggers. I can not wait to share more details of the big weekend with all of you!
What fears are you hoping to overcome in the near future?
