Door #1 Krog Street Tunnel

This cute little convenience store is located right outside of the Krog Street Tunnel on the South side near the Eastside BeltLine Trail at Wylie St SE. What is so cool about this door is that is also an augmented reality door as well. Download “Lotus Eaters Club” app, choose Tiny Doors ATL and then aim at the door and you can see different animations on your screen.

Door #2 Belt Line

Along the BeltLine under the Freedom Parkway underpass is this tiny door with a colorful rainbow! This Tiny Door on the Beltline was too cute! We even saw two little girls, dressed identically, taking photos in front of the door!

Door #3 Inman Park Pet Works

Are you a dog or cat lover? Look at the cute little doggie door! Located at Inman Park Pet Works shop.

Door #6 Paris On Ponce

This tiny door with bright red french doors and a cute little front porch is located along the BeltLine near the Paris on Ponce off of Ponce De Leon Ave. Pay close attention to find this door!

Door #7 Charis Books

This purple door is located at Charis Books & More in the Little Five Points neighborhood. Find this door and check out the South’s oldest, feminist, book store

Door #8 Milltown Arms Tavern

Head to Cabbagetown to locate this door! It has a tiny door knocker with the cutest entry light and is completely surrounded by bricks. After grabbing a picture of this tiny door, head inside and grab a cold beer and some food.

Door #9 King of Pops Window

Just down from the Pet Door you will find the King of Pops walkup window selling Atlanta’s Famous popsicles. About 15 feet away is Door #9. This door has it all, including a tiny mural of the actual mural which is just above the door, as well as a tiny sidewalk with a tiny sandwich menu! Grab you a popsicle and enjoy this awesome tiny door!

Door #10E Grant Park East

Grant Park is home to two Tiny Doors and to the only Tiny Door that actually opens! On the East side of the Park you will find this Treehouse door nestled at the bottom of a tree and the door OPENS! Open it and you’ll find critters and bugs who have made the inside of this cute little treehouse their home.

Door #10W Grant Park West

On the West side of the park you can locate this door on one of the concrete barriers at the entry of the park, right in front of where the Grant Park Farmer’s Market is held. Every Sunday from April to December the Farmers Market is in full swing, we were lucky enough to enjoy it while we were hunting for door #10w! We actually visited on a Sunday and were able to grab some great goodies from the farmer’s market.

Door #11 Center For Puppetry Arts

All the doors may be tiny but they still should be accessible to anyone and everyone. This door, located at the Center For Puppetry Arts does just that, with a tiny wheelchair and stroller accessible ramp. Cool fact about the ramp as well is that it anchors this door. The walls of the center are made of stucco making it impossible to use the adhesives needed for the door.

Door #12 Westside Trail – Kipp Strive Academy

This door is the only one located on the Westside of Atlanta. It’s located near Kipp Strive Academy along the Westside BeltLine Trail under the Lucile Ave Bridge. This door came to fruition thanks to the kids at the Kipp Strive and Kipp Ways Academies. They decided the door should look identical to painting of the tunnel called the Highball Artist, which signifies paint buckets at the top of the bridge being tipped over and a train barreling through the tunnel, throwing the wet paint through the tunnel and the paint splashing out the other side. This paint-splashed door also includes a tiny mailbox which opens, allowing tiny notes to be left.

Door #13 Belt Line – East Side Trail under Virginia Ave

Back to the other side of town along the East Side BeltLine trail under Virginia Ave is this pink tiny door near hot air balloon art, located higher than the other doors in which a tiny ladder is available to reach the door.

Disclaimer: DO NOT park in the parking lot center where the Mint salon and Midtown Butcher Shoppe are located. When searching for this door we parked in this lot and went to the belt line trail to get a picture of this door and less than 5 minutes later we were back at our car. Unfortunately our car had been booted. This parking lot boots cars if you take one step off of the parking lot cement. They have a guy right around the corner just waiting to ruin your day with a boot that cost $75 to remove from your car. Find parking on the street so you can save yourself some money and still get a picture of this awesome tiny door!

This was such a fun activity to do in Atlanta that we really enjoyed doing together. (Other than the $75 boot…ha) We highly recommend it for those with kids and those who enjoy getting out to search the city for stuff that’s not easily found.
