]]> April already? I think it’s crazy how fast this year is going… but then again, don’t we say that every year/month/week? Definitely!
Here’s my top 5 things I’m looking forward to this month:
5- It’s the last full month of school. Boy oh boy does this one make me happy. I loathe enjoy school, but knowing that summer is quickly approaching makes me ever so happy!
4- Patio weather! Love love love this! Thomas and I are such foodies, so April Weather+Food+Patios=PERFECTION
3-BLUEBONNETS! They grow wild everywhere in Texas. For as long as I can remember I’ve loved these gorgeous flowers, and for as long as I can remember, I’ve sat in a big field of bluebonnets and taken pictures… A tradition I hope to continue when I have kids of my own.
Last year, Thomas and I went to opening day, it was a crazy amazing experience!
2- BASEBALL IS BACK! Oh glorious baseball! Come April 1st, I always feel as though all is right and just in the world.
1- Getting the keys to our apartment! April 30th, yay! I’ve been anticipating this day for quite a while, so excited that I’m finally counting down weeks and days instead of months!

]]> So shame on me, it’s the middle of the month, but needless to say, it’s been a BUSY start to 2014!
Normally I do 10 things I’m looking forward to, but seeing how the holidays are over, for now, I plan to stick to 5 things I’ll be looking forward to each month. Here are my top 5 favorite things I look forward to in my favorite month of the year!

5. Starting a New semester. Maybe it’s not the greatest thing, but I always enjoy the first week of a New semester! New spirals, new pens… Does this make me a nerd?
2. Watching the various balls drop half a dozen times! Because once just isn’t enough, seeing them drop from 12pm until 2 am.

3.New Year’s Day! Who can say they don’t love this day?
2. After Christmas/ New Year sales! I LOVE stocking up on holiday decorations and just about everything else that’s on sale. Victoria’s Secret and Bath and Body Works Semi Annual sales top my list of favorites!

1. MY BIRTHDAY! January 11th of course! (Yes, it’s already passed, but who cares?) Everyone loves their own birthday!

Somehow I’ve let the first two weeks of January BLOW by without even realizing it. I hope everyone has had a great start to the new year!
