10 in 10 {TruFire Kitchen}

I can’t believe we are already on #7 of 10 New Restaurants in 10 Weeks! I am so pleased to say that this weeks spot has certainly been one of my favorites
Tuesday night rolled around, and I had no desire to cook or clean up whatever I was going to cook and I was off almost an hour early from work. I called Thomas, twisted his arm enough to convince him we needed to go out to eat. I was searching Yelp, as I often do, and found TruFire Kitchen. Natalie @ The Fashion Hour had recently posted about their awesome happy hour specials and delicious sangria, which totally solidified where we would be going.
I was coming down off of a migraine, so I chose not to order a drink for myself, but that didn’t stop Thomas! He ordered their Blackberry Smash, which may have been one of the best drinks I’ve ever had! It contained the perfect amount of mint, lemon, vodka and blackberries… So good that he had two, with my help of course!
Normally, I would not brag about a Cesar salad, but we were both craving something cold to start us off. The dressing had a spicy-peppery twist that had me dying for more. Like I said, most Cesar salads are nothing to brag about, but this one was definitely one to make note of.

For our main course, Thomas suggested the Tomato Jam with chicken because he knows I have an undying love for buratta cheese and this dish came with a huge helping of the gooey-goodness on top. Paired with campanelle pasta, it was one of the best pasta dishes I have ever indulged in. The flavors of the buratta, basil, and tomato blended so deliciously, it made for the perfect dish to dine on!
We were so impressed with TruFire kitchen! It was absolutely impeccable! We will DEFINITELY be back!
